Was at the mayday concert yesterday and i saw stef sun...can only say tt she's becoming more of a diva...her wu3 tai2 mei4 li4 is getting better by the day man...totally unlike her performances when she just entered the scene....experience does the trick, eh??
Anyway, wasn't planning to go for the concert initially but happened to pass by the padang while travelling to our planned destination and we decided to watch the concert instead... =p sounds more like we watched it as stef was performing, coz most parts of the concert were either incomprehensible or boring as there were many performances by the minorities and other grps tt we've never seen b4. Am thankful to the birthday boy for bearing all the boring parts and watching e concert w me just coz he knew i'm a fan of yz... think it was pretty silly of us to stand there n wait for such a long time for yz's performance but well, we did manage to catch other singers like ah do, kelly poon, junyang, jacyntha(not sure if i spelt it correctly, but she's e new SI judge), and many others, and i think on the whole, the standard of the performance was pretty high considering tt most of e performers r singaporeans. Just tt i couldn't understand some of them...
Btw, to follow up on my previous post, my sec band managed a gold medal in the band comp this time round but they didn't manage to get into the finals. There's been much improvement from the previous comp but other bands are improving as well, so guess the only thing they can do is to keep on trying to better themselves.
B4 i end of this entry, just want to tell a girl tt no matter how tough the going gets, don't ever let it get u down. Friends r always around to help you, but most importantly, u must help urself first. Only then can they help u.
